SEASONS members are “Good Neighbours” to the senior citizens living at Marionville Court Care Home and every month, one or two volunteers from SEASONS and Jane the project co-ordinator will visit our next door neighbours to share stories and songs, which the residents enjoy and always look forward to.
In November 2014, SEASONS gifted 101 Woodland Trust fruiting hedgerow trees to Marionville court, five of our members braved the frosty weather to plant them. They are growing well and when mature will attract wildlife which the residents can enjoy watching.

LOCHEND SECRET GARDEN
SEASONS has a raised bed at Lochend Secret Garden and in the past we have grown our own delicious organic produce there including: Tatties, beetroots, peas, radishes, garlic, marigolds, lettuce, Kale, raddishes , carrots and courgettes. We’d like to do this again and need gardening enthusiasts to sow seeds, tend and harvest crops, members are welcome to take home produce they’ve helped grow and join in with the busy social calendar of Lochend Secret Garden and the many skill sharing workshops on offer.
In December 2014 as snow lay thick on the ground, intrepid members of SEASONS cooked delicious, warming soup in the secret garden. With the help of Karin from Carr Gomm who shared her wisdom with us throughout the growing season.
